Let the journey be shaped by the curiousity of the child…
This was so incredibly cool. We (Maximan and I) got a private tour in this private mineral museum. The owner, Ed, spoke with such enthusiasm about his collection and where and how he found it. His latest trip was to the United States where he stayed for a couple of weeks.
We got inspired. Maximan has always been collecting rocks, and I have always been throwing them away. But now I have seen that rocks can truly be treasures. This is amazing. I felt like a kid in a toystore. Makes me think again, before clearing out Maximan his rocks.

The pictures here are only a small impression of what we really saw. If you like to see more, here is a link to the collection. Apart from the mineral collection there was much more to see, lighthouses, mining equipment… A real treasure.
A memo to me: I think we need to set up a special place for Maximan his stones, so I don’t have to keep clearing them. You will never know what will come of it. We were very happy we got this tour.
